Power English Launch
Power English, the new Elementary English course at QP's Corporate Training Department, was launched at the Al-Ghazal Club on Wednesday, 16th February 2005. The introduction of this competency-based training programme marks an important step for the English Curriculum Development Project, in which new English language training materials are being implemented at all levels of the Corporate Training portfolio. This exciting initiative is also included in the recommendations made by the Strategic Qatarization Plan's English Competence Team towards quality Qatarization. The launch was attended by senior representatives of QP subsidiaries and departments as well as of other training institutions such as the British Council.
Information Seminar
The English Competence Team held a very successful Information Seminar on 19th April, 2004 for Energy & Industry sector companies and other bodies such as the British Council, the Ministry of Education, and the Academic Bridge Programme.
